Entries: Each entry is one square in the grid, plus one final score prediction. $10 per entry - payouts available on the Money page. If you plan to do multiple squares / entries, you perform a sign-up on each one.

Lack of Payment: If the deadline for pool passes and you have not paid, you are removed from the pool. If you mail a check you need to ensure you have communicated to me that it is on the way. Or, get it in the mail asap on signup.
Submitting/Updating Picks: Use the Update Picks page at this site to enter your picks, after registering (or re-login). Selection of an open square is only done once. The final score prediction can be updated up to the deadline (2026-02-08 18:20 Eastern). Once the deadline passes, score predictions are locked and the squares grid will have values assigned randomly.
Squares Portion: The squares portion is the standard squares concept, with a payout at the end of 1st quarter, halftime, end of 3rd quarter, and end of game. You receive a digit form 0 to 9 for each team and the score of each team matching your two digits is a win. When a team is over 10 points, its the digit the value ends in for matching purposes. Example: First quarter ends Tampa Bay 14, Kansas City 6 - the person with Tampa Bay 4 and KC 6 wins that payout.
Final Score Prediction Portion: With each entry, you indicate a prediction for the final score of the game. Awarding of this pot is figured in this order:

Multiple with winning team and that teams score exactly correct, then:
Closest to the actual margin of victory
If still tied, split of pot
Example 1: game ends TB 31 KC 17, 3 people have 31 for TB, 31-27, 31-14, 31-20. The picks of 31-20 and 31-14 split the pot, both being within 3 of the actual margin of victory.
Example 2: game ends TB 31 KC 17, 3 people have 31 for TB, 31-19, 31-14, 31-24, the TB 31-19 is the winner, it being within 2 of the actual margin of victory
Example 3: game ends TB 31 KC 17, 1 person has 31 for TB, 31-3, no other with TB and 31 points. The 31-3 pick is STILL the winner, since 'on the number' for TB's 31 (much like the squares concept!)

Multiple with closest to winning team score, then:
Closest to the actual margin of victory
If still tied, closest to the losing team score
If still tied, split of pot
Example 1: game ends TB 31 KC 17, predictions of TB 30-21, and TB 32-24 (no other predictions within 1 of the TB's 31 total). Tibreaker dictates the TB 30-21 wins, since margin of 9 predicted is closer to actual margin (14), then the others prediction of 8 for a margin.
Example 2: game ends TB 31 KC 17, predictions of TB 28-21, and TB 34-27 (no other predictions are within 3 of TB's 31 total). Both are 3 away from the correct TB 31 (a tie). Next is margin of victory, which both have as 7 (also a tie). Final tiebreaker, closest to losing team score yields the 28-21 pick the winner.

Overtime If the game goes to overtime, the final score is the score at the end of overtime. (end of 4th quarter is not considered in any payouts)
Less Than 100 Entries: Should the pool have less than 100 entries at the deadline, unclaimed squares are in play. If any unclaimed square is hit (1st, half, 3rd, final), the payout is shifted in the following manner:
