PLAYOFF PUSH! DOliver leads charge in Week 11
KSabbe, Wyatt, even Jennings, aim for postseason

The Emertons finally stayed out of the headlines this week, while the
mid-majors started making their official bids for the postseason. Dylan
Oliver won the week with an impressive 8-point margin of victory, taking
himself from 16th to 13th, just one spot from JLee's playoff spot. Kevin
Sabbe is still a longshot for the Slate, but after winning last week, his
second-place finish this week pulls him within 31 points of the playoffs.
Even Adam Jennings is finding himself on the FunkyRadar these days,
finishing third and entering Week 12 just 17 points out. Tully, Hassanali,
and Schwartz all helped solidified their playoff bid with money finishes.

the Titans, Falcons, or Bengals had won, Kevin Sabbe would've won his second
straight week.

- Dylan's weekly win is the 10th of his life, tying him with KathyandWyatt
for 7th on the
all-time list. It is the 9th time that SchussDaddy has finished in last
place.
- Pool leader Mr. Emerton is the only one of us to earn over 70% of his
points wagered on "swing games." 2nd place Eric Emerton is the only other
poolster to earn over 65%.
- It has now been 93 weeks since Eric Emerton, winner of 3 Slates, has won
the week.
- Jason Sullivan is 10-0 in Bears games. He picked them to beat the
Panthers with his 11-pick.
- DOliver is the only one to be 10-0 with the Jets.
- Ken Vis and Jen Retsek are the only two to be 10-0 with the Bengals.

1-spot.

Picks of the Week

Pick of the Week goes to Jason Sullivan's bold and, entirely accurate,
selection of Chicago over Carolina. We must concur that the game's outcome
was both surprising and convincing. It is Sully's 16th career POW, almost
double what anyone else has. Sabbe still doesn't have any.
Technically speaking, there is no COW this week -- just a five-way tie
-- but we can tell when a clown is trying to call another clown a clown, and
it's still valid. Hassanali nominated Schwartz for COW, but we're pretty
sure he meant Godsey. Clown Pick of the Week goes to Mike Godsey for his 16
on the Bengals. As has been documented time and time again, standing by
your team when they're the underdogs is looked on unfavorably in this pool
-- even when they win, but especially when they lose. It's much "less
clownish" to ask for odds, or say your team is going to the Super Bowl while
putting a 4 on them; bear this in mind this week if you're fearful of a COW
being placed on your head with great indignation. Speaking of which...

- Money's (?) Bears at Godsey's Bucs. Godsey will have his
post-Thanksgiving full boat on the Bucs. Money....probably not so much.
This is because the Bucs are much better than the Bears.
- Jennings' Browns against Kevin Sabbe's Vikings. This one might actually
be interesting. We'll find out tomorrow.
- And, ah yes, Wyatt's Dolphins swim into Raider Nation. Always an exciting
part of the season until their picks actually get published. This year may
be different, however...
