Oh Brother!  Sabbe wins Week 11, rushes Brethren Cup, shifts playoff picture

The Wyatts dominated Week 8, and the Godseys made their move last week; this week, the Sabbes announced their presence with a loud annoying grunt-yell and a Week 11 victory.  Chris won the week for the 15th time of his life (moving him to 2nd on the all-time list), and jumped into the playoff picture in the process.  After a triumphant Week 10, the Godseys finished in 22nd and 23rd this week, leaving the Brethren Cup race in the hands of the Sabbes and Wyatts, who know occupy the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th spots in the overall standings. 
    Meanwhile, nothing monumental has taken place yet, but the pack is slowly catching up with Bill Ellis.  It doesn't look like anybody is going to catch him in the regular season, but a few poolsters like JLee and Jen Retsek are within reach of being within reach during the playoffs. 
 
Stats and Observations:
 
- After being called out last week, Scott Wyatt finally finished in the money.  Now everyone has won money in 2007 and the longest money-less streak is at a mere 6 weeks.
 
- Bill is 46-3 with his picks of 11 or higher.
 
- Diane is still undefeated with the Colts.
 
- "Cowboy" Hassnali is 10-0 on Cowboy games.  He finally got a real Eagle win.
 
- Godsey is still undefeated with the Bills.
 
 
 
If only....

Jen Retsek would've won the week if the Rams would've lost one more time (Sabbe says "sorry"), or if Carolina had won ("Sabbe says "no, not against the Packers.  Sorry."; or if Pittsburgh could've handled the JETS (Sabbe reiterates: "Sorry!"); or if the Browns had actually missed that field goal.  ("SORRY!")
 
Zack Schwartz wins with Miami or Tennessee
 
Mr. Emerton wins with the Saints
 
Scott Wyatt wins with the Chargers
 
DOliver wins with Chicago.
 
 
Pick of the Week:

After going an entire career without a POW, Sabbe #1 has now won the honor twice in a season.  Everyone was very excited about his Jets pick.
On the other hand, many people were rattled by Kurt Schwartz's annual negligence, but Weekly Recap would like to remind everyone that POW stands for "Clown PICK of the Week."  Thus, P. Godsey gets the rainbow wig for his attempt with the Bengals, a pick almost everyone made.  Check out the website for commentary.
