Kathy Wathy Wails on all us all
-----------------------
The Weekly Recap is coming to you from Sacramento, so it's going to be abbreviated, but we felt the need to tell you what you already knew: Kathy kicked our asses last week. She almost blasted the all-time record for biggest differential between 1st and 2nd place (she almost won by 24 points). We've noticed on the Discovery Channel that you don't want to mess with Mama Elk. Or Mama Bear or Mama Tiger. Especially New Mama Lion. They're ferocious and dangerous. And Kathy is back in the playoff race. Ferocious and dangerous.
Meanwhile, the hunting and gathering leader Mike Godsey remained the overall alpha male with his food-providing 11th place finish, but every Emerton and every Slate contender gained on him.
Stats and observations:
-----------
Kathy's 17th weekly win surpasses Chris Sabbe and puts her in second place on the all-time list, approaching Godsey's once un-approachable total of 19 wins.
Patrick Godsey's last-place finish is his 10th, tying him with Kathy for 9th on the all-time list. Money Retsek's co-last place finish was only the 4th of his life.
Cal Poly loses in first home playoff game
------------
The energy was high for Cal Poly's first-ever home playoff game, but they turned the ball over like 5 times, after only turning it over 6 times all season. So they lost.
SLOHS finally beats Morro Bay with Godsey at the helm
------------
With Coach Godsey in a full black and gold suit in his debut, the Lady Tigers beat Morro Bay for the first time in 20 years, 51-36. We're in Sacramento right now reporting on their subsequent tournament.
