JUST FIN, BABY!

K-Zee and his Dolphins pull off rare victory
----------------------
In a week underwhelmed by a lack of team spirit or bold moves, it was all the more
poignant when Kurt Schwartz celebrated his second weekly win since 2002, while his
11-pointed Dolphins celebrated their first win of the season. Kurt only gained
20 points on the playoff line and thus is still Laughamatically Eliminated ™ (one
is never “no longer Laughamatically Eliminated” in any case), but good times.

In the real race, it was more yawns as (on the heels of JLee’s exciting move in
Week 13) JLee and Jen Retsek (and just about everyone already locked into the playoffs)
went conservative for the second straight week. And for the second straight week,
they slid softly backwards. Let’s hope the 11 playoff games are more exciting.

The only exciting race is the minor skirmish at the playoff line after Wego gained
11 points on both Sabbe and KenDoggie. He is now 6 points out with two weeks to
play.

Stats and Observations:

- With one minor exception (Jen was in 4th for one week), Banker Bill, Jenaroo,
and JLee have occupied the top 3 spots since Week 4.

- Although we forget what the official ruling is when there are players who forgot
to make picks, it appears that Franzen has finished in last place for the third
week in a row, and for the 23nd time in his life. He has a commanding lead on the
all-time list.

- Three straight last place finishes ties SchussDaddy, Tully Wyatt, and Diane Emerton
for the all-time record.

- Bill Ellis is 67-6 with his picks of 11 or higher.

- "Cowboy" Hassanali finally missed with the Cowboys.

- Hassanali is still 13-0 with the Dolphins.

- Despite missing the Cowboy game, Hassanali is still 65-5 in games involving the
Ravens, Falcons, Patriots, Cowboys, or Dolphins.

-Money is 17-39 with his 1-4 picks.

- Jen is 14-0 with her 13-picks this season. She is the only one to be 14-0 with
any of their rankings.

In only…
---------
Money would’ve won the week if the Broncos had won. Or if the Dolphins had lost
just one more game. Or the Chiefs had won.

PGodsey would’ve won the week if the Cardinals or Falcons or Rams had won.

MGodsey would’ve won the week if the Bears had won.

“Cowboy” Hassanali would’ve won the week if the Cowboys had won. Or if the Bills
had circled the wagons.

Kevin Sabbe would’ve won the week if the Seahawks or Giants had won.

POW!

So far, two people have voted.
So polls will stay open for another day or two. Get there.
