"Hollywood" Kevin Sabbe makes late run at the Slate, wins Week 15
Godsey and the Emertons gently pull away from the pack
-----------------------
Known for his late-season theatrics (and his hair), Kevin Sabbe won Week 15 with an impressive 14-win performance and made what looks like a bid at the playoff line. Speed Racer's forgotten picks are going to make that quest a little easier, but the bad news for Sabbe and everyone else near the playoff line--it's a longshot from the 12th seed this year.
Mike Godsey pulled a couple games out of his not-so-bulbous ass (his metaphorical ass isn't as big) and salvaged a 4th place finish, setting a very steady pace for the rest of the pack. Robert and Eric Emerton kept pace, but an angry Diane dropped ten points, and a torrid Scott Wyatt finally dropped a dozen. With Wego and Kathy sitting about 60-70 points out, it's starting to look like a 5-horse race. But who knows? It's moving week, and Godsey's already dropped some dots on the Jags.
News and Notes:
-----------
- Kevin Sabbe's 13th Weekly Win puts him 6th on the all-time list, even though 16 poolsters have more years under their belt.
- Mike Godsey's 78th money finish ties him with Chris Sabbe atop the all-time list.
- Kevin's solo shot last week (a 9 on Houston) was the 17th of his life. Nobody else has more than 13.
- Jen Retsek, Wego, Robert Emerton, and Hassanali have never hit a solo shot. In their entire lives.
- Speed Racer was 39-3 with the Titans, Giants, and Rams, then picked all three underdogs and won all three. He is now 42-3 with those teams.
- Diane and Godsey are each 15-0 with the Lions
Next week:

Moving Week! All kinds of good, close games. Nobody picked more than 10 home teams?!?! Franzen picked 12 road teams. Twelve. Playoff picture is about to be set.
Just two weeks after our headline read: "Don't forget Speed Racer," Salvatori forgot his picks. One playoff ticket might be up in the air.
Other rivalries:
Diane's Bills (a 15 on the Broncos) at Kathy's Broncos (full boat).
Banker Bill's Packers (a 1) against Money's Bears (full boat). [a onesie? from 138 point out?]
Schussel's Texans (a 14) at Raider Nation (no Raider picks except Money's solo shot)
See ya then....
